Congratulations

Congratulations to Senthil Dorai, Bilal Nasir and Shah Khalid, who have completed their MSc; and Ross Williams and Damien Bryant who have completed their Honours. We wish them well in the next phase of their career.

 

Welcome

We welcome Prof Arie van Riessen, Curtin University, who will lead CSRP's suite of Geopolymers projects. We also welcome Prof Malcolm Powell, University of Queensland who has taken up the Chair in Comminution based at the JKMRC. Malcolm will be leading the suite of comminution projects. Welcome to Arie and Malcolm.

 

New Students

We welcome Graeme Thompson and Robbie Cocks as new PhD students in CSRP . Graeme's thesis is entitled “ Novel anodes for more efficient electrowinning circuits” and will be supervised by Dr Nick Welham, Murdoch University. Robbie’s thesis is entitled “Sustainable water use and reuse in a remote area gold mine” and is supervised by Prof Goen Ho, Murdoch University, and Mr Rob Dunne, Newmont.
